When I mention the word tours people automatically assume architecture and sightseeing – your typical bus tour.  We do something a little different.  A storytelling tour where the sights help bring the stories to life. 

So in essence we talk about the saints and the sinners and a few that straddled the fence. I tell stories about a crime fighter named Gold Tooth Mary, and a colorful business tycoon who named all three of our airports. A lifelong gangster who rose to the top of the ranks, but made his daughter promise to invite none of his fellow gangsters to his funeral.

Our Family Re-Union Tours are designed to be a unique and entertaining outing for those whose families’ ties to Chicago extend back three or more generations.  One of my favorite tours because of my passion for telling stories about the immigrants who arrived in Chicago in search of the American Dream.

Once everyone fills me in on the details about their families’ history, I begin telling stories about the Chicago and the neighborhoods their family lived and worked in.
